Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to grant 10 days parole to the petitioner's husband C.Raghu @ Raghupathi, (Prisoner No.20161), Son of Chinnasamy, Hindu aged about 38 years, native of Veerappanaickanpatti Village, Harur Taluk & Dharmapuri District, now serving life sentence at Central Prison, Vellore. O R D E R

The petitioner is the wife of the life convict by name C.Raghu @ Raghupathi. A request was made to the respondents seeking parole for the purpose of executing a sale deed with respect to the property standing in the name of the petitioner's husband. As it was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's husband has obtained loan for the conduct of the case. Therefore, the property which stands in the name of the convict will have to be sold.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that though the petitioner has sought for ten days, considering the facts of the case, lesser number of days may be considered.

4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 5.Considering the submissions made and taking note of the fact that the reason assigned by the petitioner has not been denied or disputed, this Court is inclined to grant a period of four days towards parole subject to the conditions that can be imposed by the respondent no.2. The parole will have to be given after 22.05.2015 preferably from 23.05.2015 onwards, since the petitioner has to write examination till that time.

6.The writ petition is disposed of with the above observation. No costs.
