2014 and quash the same and direct the respondents 1-3 herein to prepare a Seniority List for the cadre of the Petitioners on the basis of the statutory date of merger under the AAI Act i.e., 01/04/1995 and consequently conduct Review Departmental Promotion Committees for each of the years with effect from 01/04/1995 till date and consider the Petitioners for promotion in such Review Departmental Promotion Committees with all consequential benefits and promote the Petitioners if necessary by reverting their Juniors and effect transfer only thereafter.

This matter came up for consideration before this Court on 12.06.2025 and on that day, it was represented that the learned counsel for the petitioner on record has given change of vakalat. However, it was noticed that no fresh appearance was entered. In view of the same, Registry was directed to print the name of the petitioner in the cause-list. Accordingly, the matter was listed again on 30.06.2025. However, there was no representation and hence, the matter was directed to be listed under the caption 'for dismissal'. 2.

Today, inspite of matter being listed under the caption 'for dismissal', there is no representation for the petitioner. In view of the same, this Court is left with no other option except to dismiss the writ petition for non-prosecution.
