2. Heard Mr.G.Rajan, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.R.Suresh Kumar, learned counsel for the High Court and Mr.R.Syed Mustafa, learned Special Government Pleader (Service-Puducherry).

3. The petitioner belongs to the State of Andhra Pradesh. His claim to belong to the scheduled caste has been rejected. Therefore, he has come up with the above writ petition.

4. The issue raised in this writ petition is covered by a decision of the Division Bench of this Court in Rev.A.Nos.69 and 70 of 2015 dated 1.4.2015, to which, one of us (VRSJ) was a party.
