..Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent dated 16.06.2023 in D.O.No.61/2023-C2 against the petitioner's husband Suresh, Male, aged 45 years, S/o. Settu, who is confined at Central Prison, Vellore and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in D.O.No.61/2023-C2 dated 16.06.2023 detaining her husband as "Bootlegger", as contemplated under Section 2(b) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents submits that the order of detention has been revoked by the Advisory Board vide G.O.Rt.No.3987, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department dated 21.07.2023.

3. Recording the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this habeas corpus petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
