PETITION under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the fourth respondent to dispose of O.A.No.1585 of 2013 on the file of the Central Administrative Tribunal, Madras Bench, Chennai in a speedy manner within the stipulated time.

limited prayer to the Central Administrative Tribunal to dispose of his application within a time frame.
2. Heard Mr.Prakash Adiapadam, learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr.R.Syed Mustafa, learned Special Government Pleader (Puducherry) takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3.
3. The original application is of the year 2013. The Government Pleader (Puducherry) has not so far filed a reply before the Tribunal.
4. Since two years have passed and the matter relates to selection, the writ petition is disposed of with the following directions :
(i) the Government of Puducherry shall file a reply to the original application within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; and (ii) within eight weeks from the date of the Government of Puducherry filing a reply, the Central Administrative Tribunal shall endeavour to dispose of the original application. No costs.
