Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuing a Writ of Mandamus by directing the respondents herein to consider the representation dated 07.082020 in the light of the proceedings of the 1st respondent herein dated 27.08.2020 in Na.Ka.No.8598/2020/A1 and classify the property of an extent of 1.63 acres in survey No.210, Thiruvallur Village, Mannarkudi Taluk, Tiruvarur District ss Jari Natham in the name of the petitioner.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the

representation dated 07.08.2020 in the light of the proceedings of the 1st respondent dated 27.08.2020 and classify the property measuring an an extent of 1.63 acres in Survey No.210, Thiruvallur Village, Mannarkudi Taluk, Tiruvarur District ss Jari Natham in the name of the petitioner.

2. When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, Mr. A. Arul Doss, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that that the 3rd respondent had already issued a notice to the petitioner calling upon him to appear for enquiry on 29.12.2020 at 11.00 a.m. and the petitioner is at liberty to produce all the relevant documents before the 3rd respondent.

3. In view of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would appear for enquiry on 29.12.2020 and a time may be fixed for passing an order by the 3rd respondent.

4. In such view of the matter, since 3rd respondent had fixed the enquiry on 29.12.2012, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.08.2020 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to all the parties and also permitting the petitioner to produce all the relevant documents, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
