O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, direction directing the respondent to subdivide and issue patta for the petitioner's property bearing S.No.115/1, to an extent of 0.76 cents situated at No.147, Thirunilai Village, No.147, Sozhavaram Panchayat Union, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District by considering his representation dated 16.08.2021.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner owned agricultural property comprised in survey No.115/1 to an extent of 0.76 cents at No.147, Thirunilai Village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District. The said property has been purchased from one Ganesa Mudaliar, for the total extent of 1.51 acres comprised in survey No.115/1.

3. On the strength of the sale deed, the petitioner submitted a representation before the respondent for subdivision of issuance of separate patta. For the sub-division, the respondent has to survey the land and thereafter, only it has to be sub-divided and considered for issuance of patta.

4. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to pay the requisite fee for survey the land and on such payment, the respondent is directed to survey the land and sub-divide the same as per the sale deed and relevant documents produced by the petitioner and consider for issuance of patta. While surveying the land, the Surveyor concerned is directed to issue notice to the parties concerned and complete the survey.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
