By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.
2. The Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.03.2026 and to return the petitioner's original Sale Deed dated 27.03.1992.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that he availed a Housing Loan of Rs.1,89,000/- from the 2nd respondent-Society and the entire loan amount has been repaid by him. However, the Sale Deed of the petitioner deposited with 2nd respondent-Society has not been returned. Hence, the petitioner filed a suit in O.S.No.5 of 2016 on the file of the Subordinate Court, Yanam and the same was settled in Lok Adalat and award was passed on 08.04.2017 for return of the Sale Deed. Even thereafter, the 2nd respondent has not returned the same. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 30.03.2026 before the respondents 1 and 2 seeking return of Sale Deed deposited before the 2nd respondent-Society and the same has not been considered till date. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court. 2/5

Mr.V.Vasanthakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader (Pondicherry), who is taking notice for the respondents, would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 30.03.2026 will be considered by the 2nd respondent on its own merits and in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.
5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.03.2026 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
