Heard the learned counsels appearing for the parties.

2. The Petition seeking to dispense with the production of certified copy of the impugned order is allowed.

3. The learned counsel Mr.N.G.R.Prasad and Mr.Jayesh B.Dolia have brought to our notice that there are two other similar connected matters also. He prays for grant of time to give vacant possession upto 31.3.2021, as it is intended only to be used for construction of a commercial complex.

4. It is informed by the learned Additional Advocate General Mr.P.H.Arvindh Pandian that there are about 242 allottees in the Government Residential Quarters Building in question at Peters Road Colony and only the three Appellants viz., Ms.V.Shanthi, Mr.G.Ravichandran and C.Elavarasi have filed these Writ Appeals. He submitted that all of the allottees under the special circumstances of Covid, were allotted alternative accommodation including these three persons. The learned Single Judge has given time upto 15.11.2020 to hand over the vacant possession and most of them have either complied or are willing to comply and hand over vacant possession except these http://www.judis.nic.in

three Writ Appellants. He further submitted that all the clearances have been obtained for demolition of the said Residential Building and there is a plan to raise the construction of a commercial complex there.

5. These Writ Appeals are directed against the common order dated 5.11.2020 passed by a learned Single Judge of this court.

6. We direct the office to register the Appeals which are at S.R.Stage only at regular numbers and place them for Admission on 18.11.2020.

7. In view of the aforesaid submission of the learned Additional Advocate General, we are not inclined to grant any interim stay at this stage, as most of the allottees have complied with and only three such allottees, who do not have any vested right, cannot be allowed to delay the whole project.
