ORDER
By order dated 21.06.2024, this Court dismissed the Insolvency Petition with costs of Rs.2,00,000/- and a further direction has been issued to the District Collector, Thiruvallur to initiate necessary action for recovery of said cost under the Revenue Recovery Act, 1890.
2. Today, the learned Special Government Pleader (CS) has filed a memo dated 22.11.2024 in I.P. No.27 of 2016 stating that since the petitioner's property not within the jurisdiction of the District Collector, Thiruvallur, the District Collector, Chennai is https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
the concerned authority to take steps in this regard. Consequently, the District Collector, Chennai has directed his subordinates and sought for a report about the petitioner. The Tahsildar, Thirvottiyur through his Na.Ka.No.A1/979/2024 dated 18.11.2024, submitted a report that despite diligent steps taken to locate the petitioner and after conducting local enquiry, it is learnt that the petitioner is not residing in the said property for the last six years and hence, unable to collect the amounts under the Revenue Recovery Act as prayed for by this Court.
