O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for the relief of issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to release petitioner's lorry in Registration No.TAV 2125 immediately on the basis of petitioner's representation dated 11.03.2015.

2. Mr.T.N.Rajagopalan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for respondents.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that his lorry bearing Regn.No.TAV 2125 has been detained by the respondents on 8.3.2015 without assigning any reason and the same is parked at Arani police Station. Though the petitioner has made request/representation on 11.3.2015 for release of the vehicle, there is no response from the respondents.

4. In view of the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondents are directed to consider the representation dated 11.3.2015 made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law and on merits within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, if the same is not already disposed of.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. However, there is no order as to costs.
