A.Balamurugan ..Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of MANDAMUS directing the 4th respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's applications dated 11.02.2015 and 17.02.2015 for cancellation of patta No.1099 dated 19.12.2014 insofar as the survey No.292/5A measuring an extent of 0.13.5 Ares [0.33 cents] is concerned, issued in favour of the 7th respondent for the property situated at Veppur village, Wallajah Taluk, Vellore District and for a direction to the 5th respondent not to entertain and register any sale deeds in respect of the property.

ORDER
Heard M/s.S.Hemalatha, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 to 5, accepting notice on behalf of the respondents and with their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.
2. Since the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself without going into the merits of the contentions raised by the petitioner as against the private respondents 6 and 7, notice to the respondents 6 and 7 is dispensed with.
3. The petitioner has filed representations to the 4th respondent seeking for cancellation of patta granted in favour of the respondents 6 and 7. Those representations/applications have been acknowledged by the 4th respondent, as could be seen from the postal acknowledgment card as well as the acknowledgment given in the Office of the District Collector, Vellore District.
4. In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the petitioner's contentions, there will be a direction to the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's applications/representations dated 11.02.2015 and 17.02.2015 and issue notice to the petitioner as well as to the respondents 6 and 7, hear them in person and thereafter, decide the matter on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
