O R D E R

This Court, by order dated 06.08.2024, had passed the following order:

"The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in this case, the first petitioner passed away on 09.05.2024 and second petitioner passed away on 25.06.2022. Death due to old age. As regards the third petitioner, after the suspension of petitioner was dismissed, he was secured by the police and he was remanded to prison during April 2022. After completion of 2 years sentence, he was released on April 2024.

2. The learned Public Prosecutor seeks time to confirm the death of the first and second petitioners.

3. As regars serving of sentence by the third petitioner, the learned Public Prosecutor seeks time to verify with the prison authorities.

In continuation and conjunction to the earlier order dated 06.08.2024, today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has produced a letter from the Superintendent of Prisons, Central Prison - I, Puzhal, Chennai, confirming that the third petitioner had served the sentence and he was released on 27.03.2024. Further the learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced the death certificate of first and second petitioners, who are no more. The first petitioner died on 09.05.2024 and the second petitioner died on 25.06.2022.

3.In view of the same, nothing survives in this Criminal Revision Case and the same is closed.
