This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.13 of 2018 on the file of All Women Police Station, Polur, Thiruvannamalai District.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the 1st respondent police submitted that based on the complaint, a case has been registered in Crime No.13 of 2018 for the offences under Sections 417, 376, 312 of IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. He further submitted that after registration of F.I.R., the respondent Police had conducted an enquiry and completed the same and filed charge sheet in S.C.No.138 of 2021 before the the Mahila Court, Thiruvannamalai.

3. Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
