This Criminal Original Petition is filed by A1 and A2 in C.C.No.26 of 2022 for issuance of direction to the Judicial Magistrate to complete the trial within a time frame.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that for several hearings, the case is adjourned for want of prosecution witnesses despite summons issued to them.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police states that so far 3 witnesses examined and summons to four more witnesses been issued and the next hearing date is fixed as 08.07.2024.
