ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for trial of cases under SC and ST (PoA) act, Perambalur to accept the surrender of the petitioner and consider his bail application on the same day in Crime No.75 of 2026 on the file of the 2nd respondent.

2. Considering the nature of the relief sought for, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and the defacto complainant are belongs to same locality and on 26.02.2026 the petitioner has scolded the defacto complainant by mentioning caste name and attacked with hands.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court hereby direct the learned Judge, Special Court for SC/ST, Perambalur District to issue prior notice to the de facto complainant and thereafter, to consider the bail

application of the petitioner on the same day of his surrender before that Court in connection with Crime No.75 of 2026 on the file of the 2nd respondent police. The petitioner shall surrender before the learned Trial Court within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
