ORDER

When the matter was listed for hearing on earlier occasions i.e., 25.04.2024 and 03.06.2024, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Thus, this Court passed an order, directing the Registry to list the matter on 05.06.2024 under the caption "For Dismissal".

2. Even today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner and therefore, no useful purpose would be served in keeping this Criminal Original Petition.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition stands dismissed for non prosecution. Consequently, the Criminal Appeal is rejected at the SR stage itself.
