Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Declaration, declaring that the non-consideration of petitioner application bearing No.TNVKP11_234 to the post of specialist in micro finance in the 1st respondent organization is not valid and violative of the provisions of the G.O.Ms.No.704 dated 15.4.1964 of the Public (Services-A) Department, Government of Tamil Nadu and also the persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995 and consequently direct the 1st respondent to consider his application and appoint him in the post of specialist in micro finance.

ORDER

The very relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents to consider the application submitted by the writ petitioner to the post of specialist in micro finance in the first respondent society.

2. The petitioner seeks consideration for selection to the said post under the priority category. However, the application was submitted in the year 2014 and the selection during the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

relevant point of time would have concluded. Thus, on account of efflux of time, the relief sought for lost its relevance and therefore, the petitioner is at liberty to participate in the fresh selection, if any notification is issued for such recruitment or otherwise.

3. With this liberty, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
