The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondent to make alteration of date of birth from 06.04.1959 instead of 17.03.1957 in the service records of the petitioner based on the representation dated 04.08.2014. 2.The petitioner submitted a representation for alteration of date of birth during the fag end of retirement. Therefore, such belated applications cannot be entertained. Furthermore, the petitioner attained the age of superannuation and retired from service.
