ORDER

The criminal original petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent police not to harass the petitioner without due process of law.

2.The petitioner apprehends harassment on the hands of the second respondent. Further, the petitioner is a lady and during odd hours, she has been called for enquiry. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.side) submits that the petitioner taken money from one John to the tune of Rs.40,00,000/- and she admits the same that only reason for non-payment of amount seems to be the prevailing Covid - 19 situation. The complaint was received on 24.07.2021.

4. The counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is willing to appear before the respondent police. 5.In view of the same, the Court directs the petitioner to appear before the second respondent police on 23.09.2021 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and thereafter and her only apprehension is that no harassment to be caused. Finding that the petitioner is a lady, the second respondent police is directed to conduct an enquiry, preferably, along with Woman police personnel. 6.With the above directions, the criminal original petition is disposed of.
