ORDER

Heard Mr.P.Shanmugapriyan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Shanmuga Sundar, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents.

2. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the time of admission itself.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions would submit that a statutory appeal has been filed by the petitioner before the Revenue Divisional Officer (Central), Anna Nagar, Chennai - 101 against the impugned order. The learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions would submit that the petitioner is satisfied, if a direction is given to the Revenue Divisional Officer (Central), Anna Nagar, Chennai - 101 to dispose of the statutory appeal within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents also admits on instructions that the statutory appeal has been filed by the petitioner aggrieved by the impugned order. He would also submit on instructions that the Revenue Divisional Officer will pass orders on the statutory appeal filed by the petitioner within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. After recording the submissions made by the respective counsels, this Court directs the Revenue Divisional Officer (Central), Anna Nagar, Chennai - 101 to dispose of the statutory appeal filed by the petitioner aggrieved by the impugned order in this writ petition and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
