ORDER

Heard Mr.R.Chandrasekaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.E.M.S.Natarajan, learned Government Advocate (Co-Op. Society), appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.L.P.Shanmuga Sundaram, learned Special Government Pleader (CoOp. Society), appearing for 4th respondent.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought permission of this court to withdraw the above writ petition with liberty to move an appeal as contemplated under section 152(2) of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, within three days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The learned counsel further submitted that the parties may be directed to maintain status quo for a period of three days.

3. Having regard to the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn and liberty is given to the petitioner to file an appeal as against the impugned order under section 152(2) of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act and the parties are directed to maintain status quo for a period of three days.
