ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd and 3rd respondents not to harass the petitioner and his brother.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the Respondents.

3. On a complaint given by one Kaliyaperumal, petition enquiry was conducted in CSR No.25 of 2016, in which, the petitioner agreed to repay a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs Only) to the complainant. On the strength of undertaking given by the petitioner, CSR No.25 of 2016 was closed. Now, the petitioner has gone back upon the assurance by alleging that he was forced to give such an undertaking.

4. In the considered opinion of this Court, in the case of this nature, the order of 'not to harass' cannot be passed. The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the police for enquiry.

With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
