ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for certiorarifed Mandamus directing the respondent to call for the records relating to the Proceeding No.CTA N Dis.1,126,345 H4 dated 03.10.2011 and quash the same, consequently directing the respondents to pay a sum of Rs.19,662/- paid towards medical expenses claimed by the petitioner along with 18% interest until the payment of the medical expenses.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader has taken this Court to the proceedings issued by the District Educational Officer vide R.C.No.1596/A3/2011 dated 09.06.2011, wherein the request of the petitioner for reimbursement of the medical expenses was declined on the ground that surgery was performed in a G.V.N.Hospital, Trichy which is not approved hospital and submitted that unless G.O.Ms.No.377 Fin(Sal) Dated 13.10.2005 has not been relied upon the petitioner is not entitled for the relief sought for by the petitioner.

3. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, there was no 2/4

representation on behalf of the petitioner which shows that petitioner is not interested to prosecute this case.

4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of for non prosecution. No costs.
