This petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 24.08.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is seen that this petitioner has sent the complaint to the the Senior Superintendent of Police, Urulayanpettai, Puducherry District, instead of giving it to the Station House Officer.

4. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to go in person and lodge a fresh complaint before the 3rd respondent, containing the very same contents as stated in the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

previous complaint dated 24.08.2016. On receipt of such complaint, the same shall be enquired into and action be taken thereon in accordance with law.
