Common Prayer: Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to transfer the petitioners to the post of High School Headmaster in any of the Government High School in Kanceepuram District and Thiruvallur District on priority basis as per the directions issued in the Government Order in G.O.(ID) No.137 School Education Department dated 09.06.2014, based on the application submitted by the petitioners dated 01.06.2014 and 18.06.2014 respectively within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Today, when these matters were taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioners fairly submitted that due to efflux of time, the relief sought for herein has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication.
3.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, these writ petitions are dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
