Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to forthwith consider the representations of the petitioner dated 14.05.2024 seeking permission to start a nursing college in the name of SLNC College of Nursing at S.F.No.14/1 of Pappinaickanahalli Village, Sogathur Panchayat, Dharmapuri Taluk and District.

Hence, by consent of both learned counsel, final orders are passed, even at the stage of admission.
2. The petitioners are trusts that are engaged in running of institutions for various educational courses. Their prayer in brief is for a mandamus simplicitor seeking disposal of their representations, dated 13.05.2024 and 14.05.2024 respectively. Therein, they seek issuance of an amendment to G.O.Ms.No.41, Health and Family Welfare (PME-2), dated 26.09.2018 permitting Sri Lakshanya Educational Trust to start a nursing college in the name of SLNC College of 2 / 4
Nursing at S.F.No.14/1 of Pappinaickanahalli Village, Sogathur Panchayat, Dharmapuri Taluk and District.

There are various assertions that have been made in the writ affidavits which are not adverted to, since it is expected that the authority, who is to deal with the representation, being R1, Secretary, Government of Tamil Nadu, Health and Family Welfare Department, would bestow due attention to the same.
4. In fine, mandamus is issued to R1 to hear the petitioners by issue of notice, consider the prayer in their representations dated 13.05.2024 and 14.05.2024 and dispose the same, in accordance with law and applicable Rules and Regulations, within a period of eight (8) weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order.
