2. The petitioner seeks production of her husband who is said to have been illegally detained by the 3rd respondent police.
3. Today, when the matter was taken up for admission, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's husband was arrested in connection with Crime No.266/2025 on the file of Kodungaiyur Police Station and he was remanded to judicial custody on 19.05.2025 by the learned X Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai. 2/4
4. In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, as on date, the detention of the petitioner's husband cannot be said to be illegal.
In such view of the matter, this habeas corpus petition stands closed. The arrestee is always at liberty to apply for bail. (G.R.S.,J.)
