This Writ Petition has been filed for directing the respondent to pass final order in the departmental action initiated against the petitioner vide charge memo dated 19.09.2020 under Rule 17 (a) of the Tamil Nadu Civil Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, within a reasonable time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. Considering the limited relief sought for in the petition, without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the respondent is directed to pass final order in the departmental action initiated against the petitioner vide charge memo dated 19.09.2020 under Rule 17 (a) of the Tamil Nadu Civil Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
