O R D E R

This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to provide police protection to the life and property of the petitioner.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that she is the owner of the property and she was taking steps to put up construction in the property and had entrusted the work to the builder and the construction also commenced on 13.06.2018. On that day, certain rowdy elements along with a persons claiming themselves to be an advocate, barged into the property and assaulted the construction workers. The impleaded respondent is said to be the reason behind the attack. Therefore, a complaint came to be given to the respondent police on 13.06.2019 and the same was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

taken on file in C.S.R.No.467 of 2018. Since no action has been taken on the compliant, the present petition has been filed seeking for appropriate directions.

3.Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent police.

4.Taking into consideration, the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to call the parties for an enquiry and shall direct the counter party to work out his remedy, in accordance with law before the Competent Civil Court and not take law in to his own hands. It is also made clear that no person shall be entertained at the time of enquiry by calling themselves as an advocates. If inspite of the same any threat is exerted, upon the petitioner and his property, immediate action shall be taken by the respondent police in accordance with law. The respondent police shall ensure that no law and order problem is created by the parties. 5.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
