This petition has been filed seeking for transfer of investigation in Crime No.5 of 2019 on the file of the 4th respondent / Inspector of Police, W31, All Women Police station, St. Thomas Mount, Chennai to CCB, CBCID.

It is seen from records that the FIR itself has been registered by the respondent police only on 12.06.2019 and within a couple of weeks, this petition has been filed seeking for transfer of investigation.

3. This Court is of the considered view that this petition is pre-matured and some time must be given for the respondent police to proceed further with the investigation. The petitioner is directed to co-operate for the investigation and furnish all the necessary materials to the respondent police to enable the respondent police to proceed further with the investigation. If at a later point of time, there is no progress in the investigation, it is always left open to the petitioner to again approach this Court and seek for appropriate remedy. At this stage, this Court is not inclined to transfer the investigation.

4.This Criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
