C O M M O N O R D E R Heard Mr.K.Selvarangan, learned counsel for the petitioners, Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader for the 1st and 2nd respondents. With the consent of either side, the Writ Petitions themselves are taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.
2.The petitioners have filed these Writ Petitions praying for issuance of Writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to issue printed Family Ration Card to them.
3.According to the petitioners, their applications were processed and verified by the second respondent and report has been submitted to the 1st respondent and the matter is pending before the 1st respondent. However, in support of such claim, the petitioners are unable to produce the copy of the report and it is stated that the petitioners were orally informed and they were not furnished with any copy of the report of the 2nd respondent. 3.In the light of the above submissions, without going to the merits of the petitioners contentions, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioners' representations and if already the recommendations has been made by the 2nd respondent, the 1st respondent shall proceed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, these Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
