The petitioner namely Azhagesan, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 8(b), 8(c), 20(a)(i) and 20(b)(ii)(B) NDPS Act in Crime No.187 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, petitioner is falsely implicated in Crime No. 187 of 2023 for the offences under Sections 8(b), 8(c), 20(a)(i) and 20(b)(ii)(B) NDPS Act. Petitioner is innocent. Apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent, this petition is filed.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), opposes on the ground that, first information report in Crime No.187 of 2023 registered for the offences under Sections 8(b), 8(c), 20(a)(i) and 20(b)(ii)(B) NDPS Act against the petitioner's son MGR.
