PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the second respondent Police not to harass the petitioner in pursuance to the complaint lodged by the Ravanammal as per complaint.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry on the complaint of the petitioner.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that on the guise of enquiry, he has been unnecessarily harassed. In fact, the petitioner has sent a petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) submitted that on 07.08.2021, the petitioner was called for enquiry and thereafter, on 15.09.2021. For the notice dated 15.09.2021, the petitioner did not respond.

4. Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is ready and willing to appear for enquiry and co-operate with the enquiry.

5. In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police for enquiry on 29.09.2021, 30.09.2021 and thereafter, on future dates, if necessary.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
