Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records relating to the detention order in Memo No.231/BCDFGISSSV/2021 dated 12.08.2021 passed by the second respondent under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's son Prabhu @ Nattamai Prabhu @ Sivadhasan s/o.Ramachandran, aged about 29 years, who is now confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, before this Court and set him at liberty. O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by R.N.MANJULA, J] The petitioner is the mother of the detenu viz., Prabhu @ Nattamai Prabhu @ Sivadhasan s/o.Ramachandran, aged about 29 years. The detenu has been detained by the second respondent by his order in No.231/BCDFGISSSV/2021 dated 12.08.2021, holding him to be a "Goonda", as contemplated under section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14/1982. The said order is under challenge in this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detention order passed against the detenu in No.231/BCDFGISSSV/2021 dated 12.08.2021, on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.5530, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 19.11.2021 and produced a copy of the said order.

In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
