ORDER

(The case has been heard through video conference) When the matter was taken up for hearing today, Mr.K.Srinivasan, the learned Special Public Prosecutor for CBI Cases would submit that the notice under Section 41A has been issued to the petitioner vide No.6215 RC01(A)/2020-CBI/ACB/Chennai, dated 05.11.2020.

2.In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police and the Investigating Officer is directed to conduct the enquiry by strictly following the procedures therein. If the Investigating Officer has grounds to arrest the petitioner, then he has to state the reasons in writing and communicate the same to the petitioner and in that case, the petitioner is at liberty to file necessary application before this Court seeking anticipatory bail.
