The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner dated 02.5.2014 in respect of regularization of the service of the petitioner in the post https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of Wireman from the date of initial appointment on 22.5.1985.

2. Heard Mr.M.Perumal, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, Mr.E.Gokulakrishnan, the learned counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent and no appearance on behalf of the petitioner.

3.The writ petitioner was appointed as Electrician in the year 1985 in the third respondent's Municipality and subsequently brought under the regular establishment and his services were regularized. However, the regularization was not granted from the initial date of appointment. In this regard, the writ petitioner submitted a representation on 02.05.2014.

4.Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 02.05.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, no order as to costs.
