ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to considering his application, dated 16.02.2015 for the grant of electricity to his building at S.F.No.244/14A3, G.S.T.Road, Jinna Nagar, Achirapakkam, Madhuranthagam Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he is residing in the said address and also running electronics shop and pawn broker in Acharapakkam town and also doing business. According to the petitioner, he is the absolute owner of the property. Further, the petitioner has filed a civil suit in O.S. No.283 of 2014 on the file of District Court, Chengalpet for bare injunction as against the 4th respondent. Further, according to the petitioner, he has given an application to the third respondent for grant of electricity to the building. In spite of the application given on 16.02.2015, according to the petitioner, the respondents have not granted electricity connection.

3. Mr.P. Gunaraj, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 and submitted that the third respondent would consider the application submitted by the petitioner, if it is in order.

4. Having regard to the submission made by learned counsel on either side, I direct to third respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 16.02.2015 and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
