ORDER
Heard Mr.S.Sugendran, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr.M.L.Mahendran, learned Government Advocate accepting notice for the respondents and with their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.
2.The petitioner is an Archagar in Sri Seetha Ramachandra Moorthy Temple at Ammapet, Salem District has filed this writ petition
praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 09.02.2015.
3.In the representation, the petitioner has expressed two grievances, namely, that the salary of Archagar has not been paid and he has been made to indefinitely wait for his monthly salary. The second grievance is made on behalf of the people of the area stating that about thousand people met the District Collector as well as the Revenue Divisional Officer and the Joint Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, Salem, requesting that the Temple may be brought under the control of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department. Since representations were not considered and the committee members taking attempts to close the Temple, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 4.
The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, based on written instructions given by the Assistant Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment, Salem, dated 19.03.2015, submitted that the Assistant Commissioner has visited the Temple on 19.03.2015 and collected all the information and also recorded the statements from the petitioner and the revenue officials also participated in the enquiry and their statements have also been obtained and appropriate legal steps will be taken based on the information collected by the Assistant Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment by forwarding the same to the 2nd respondent. 5.
In the light of the fact that already action has been taken on the petitioner's representation, no further direction is required to consider the said representation and it would be suffice to direct the 3rd respondent to proceed in accordance with law, after notice to all the parties who are likely to be aggrieved. 6.The writ petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
