By consent, the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. According to the petitioner, his father Swaminathan, who was working as a driver in the respondent Corporation died in harness on 03.06.2008. Subsequent to the death, the petitioner's brother Varadarajan submitted an application seeking appointment on compassionate ground and he was also called for interview. On 29.05.2012, certificate verification was also conducted however, no appointment order was issued to him. The petitioner further claims that due to ill health of the petitioner's brother, on 21.09.2014, the petitioner submitted an application to the respondent Corporation seeking compassionate appointment to him alongwith no objection certificate from other legal heirs, but so far it was not considered by the respondent. 3. Heard Mr.M.Pari, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Paramasivadoss, learned counsel for the respondent.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the sole bread winner of the family and the entire family is suffering due to non-employment.

5. This Court, taking into consideration the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 21.09.2014, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
