The prayer itself is for a mandamus to consider the representation dated 02.03.2010 and pass orders there on.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the respective parties.

3. The representation dated 02.03.2010 was given to the respondents seeking to issue pattas on priority basis to the members of the association, who are Ex-Servicemen and Pensioners.

4. Though the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents expressed difficulty in conceding the prayer sought for in the present writ petition, this Court is of the view that relative merit can be decided by the respondents in accordance with law and accordingly, the representation can be disposed of.

5. Therefore, there shall be a direction to the respondents to

dispose of the representation dated 02.03.2010 on merits and in accordance with law and pass a reasoned order within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Index:
