The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 465, 468, 471 & 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.13 of 2023, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution as per the defacto complainant is that the petitioner along with other accused have cheated the defacto complainant by obtaining payment of Rs.10,00,000/- on false promise and assurance on getting job for her daughter in Chennai Corporation. Hence, the complaint.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that this is the second anticipatory bail petition and the same was dismissed on 01.06.2023 in Crl.OP.No.10428
of 2023. He further submitted that A1 has been arrested and released on bail. Hence, he prays for the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that this Court very recently, taking into consideration that the petitioner under the guise of furnishing employment has cheated several persons and the amount involved to the tune of Rs.10 lakhs, the petition was dismissed on 01.06.2023. He further submit that as far as the other accused is concerned it is a bail and this petition is for anticipatory bail. Hence, he opposed for the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5.Taking into account the nature of offence and also of the fact that the earlier application for anticipatory bail was dismissed and there is no change of circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
