ORDER

Heard Mr. M. Govindarraj, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mrs. P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate accepting notice for the respondents and with their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner is a Middle School represented by its Correspondent and they seek for a direction to the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 04.12.2013 which has been submitted to the 2nd respondent against the order passed by the District Elementary Educational Officer, effecting direct payment to the teaching and non-teaching staff of the petitioner/Institution. 3.The petitioner would state that the allegations made against the Management are wholly untenable and on account of certain persons who have certain vested interest and therefore, the petitioner submitted an appeal to the 2nd respondent and the same has not been disposed of till date. Further, it is seen that the petitioner has also given a representation to the 1st respondent on 12.01.2015 and the same is also pending.

4.In the light of the fact that the 2nd respondent is the competent authority to consider the petitioner's grievances, there will be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal/representation dated 04.12.2013 on merits and in accordance with law after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
