ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have perused the status report filed by the CB CID. The investigation is completed. It is stated by the CB CID that they will file the charge sheet within fifteen days. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2. We may note that in so far as the then Tahsildar and the Revenue Divisional Officer are concerned though no criminal culpability has been found, it has been concluded that they failed to monitor the area and sent report to the District Collector without the field inspection. A report has been sent to the Government to initiate departmental action against them. In this behalf, the State Government to commence necessary action within one month from today and an endeavour to conclude the same within a period of six months.
3. The aforesaid time schedule shall be adhered to on the pain of contempt.
4. The status report is returned back to Mr.N.Venkata Raman, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Headquarters, CB CID, Chennai, who is present in Court.
