PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, to call or records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent dated 21.04.2025 in C3/D.O/52/2025 against the petitioner's brother viz. Lokash, Male, aged 23 years, S/o.Kumar, who is confined at Central Prison, Cuddalore and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.2908, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 22.05.2025, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands

dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
