By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claims that the property bearing Site No.35 in T.S.No.78, Block 56, T.S.Ward B, Gobald Lay Out in Ward No.27, Rayapuram Extension Area, Thottipalayam Village, S.No.755, T.S.No.648/17/1, S.No.756, T.S.No.651/17/1, admeasuring totally 12555 sq.ft was settled in his favour through a registered settlement deed bearing document no.6860/14, dated 01.08.2014 and he has submitted an application dated 10.03.2015 for transfer of patta and it was also followed by a reminder dated 31.05.2016 and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition. 3.Heard the submissions of Mr.N.A.Nissar Ahmed, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

4.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application/ representation dated 31.05.2016, in accordance with law, after putting on notice the persons concerned and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as the persons concerned.
