Transfer civil miscellaneous petition filed under Section 24 of C.P.C., seeking to withdraw HMOP.No.326 of 2020 pending on the file of the Family Court at Tiruvannamalai to Sub-Court at Alandur, Chennai.

O R D E R

The petitioner / wife seeks transfer of HMOP.No.326 of 2020 pending on the file of the Family court, Tiruvannamalai to Subcourt, Alandur, Chennai. Transfer is sought for solely on the ground of convenience, since the wife is a resident of Neelankarai near Chennai.

2.Heard Mr.K.Natarajan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Despite service, the respondent is not appearing either in person or through counsel, duly instructed. 3.Considering the convenience of the wife and the fact that the proceedings before the Family Court at Tiruvannamalai would require the personal appearance of the wife for every hearing, HMOP.No.326 of 2020 is withdrawn from the file of the Family Court, Tiruvannamalai and transferred to the Sub-Court, Alandur to be disposed of in accordance with law.

4.In view of the above, this transfer civil miscellaneous petition is allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
