Heard Mr.A.Ramalingam, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr.R.A.S.Senthil Vel, learned Additional Government Pleader accepting notice for the respondents and with their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for a direction to the respondents herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated:12.11.2014 submitted with regard to issuance of new Family Card, to the petitioner.

3.According to the petitioner, earlier his name was included along with his father in the Family Card issued in the name of the petitioner's father.

Subsequently, after his marriage, the petitioner is living separately with his wife and children and he has applied for a separate Family Card and his name is said to have been deleted from the Family Card issued to his father. The petitioner's application was given on 06.06.2013 and the same is pending till date and the petitioner has also given a representation on 12.11.2014. 4.In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 06.06.2013, conduct an enquiry into the matter and if the petitioner satisfies all the conditions, the 3rd respondent shall consider the same and appropriate orders would be passed by the competent authority for grant of Family Card to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
