Crl.O.P.No.15089 of 2024 T.V.THAMILSELVI, J.

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 13.06.2024 in Crime No.525 of 2024, for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 397 & 506(ii) of IPC, seeks bail.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case, as it is alleged that this petitioner along with other accused had robbed Rs.400/- at knife point from the defacto complainant. He further submitted that the petitioner is suffering incarceration from 13.06.2024 and he is ready to abide any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police raised objection for granting bail to the petitioner stating that there are totally two accused in this case and the petitioner is ranked as A1. He further submitted that this petitioner along with other accused went to the defacto complainant's road side shop and demanded T.V.THAMILSELVI, J.

drl mamool, when the same was questioned by him, the accused had assaulted him and robbed Rs.400/- at knife point from him. He further submitted that the amount was not yet recovered. He further submitted that the petitioner has 11 previous cases and the investigation is still pending. Hence, he prayed for dismissal of the bail petition.

4. Considering the gravity of the offence and bad antecedents of the petitioner and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
