TERMS OF SETTLEMENT This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal had been filed by the Appellants/Claimants as against award of a sum of Rs.14,80,000/- (Rupees
Fourteen Lakhs and Eighty Thousand Only) by the Tribunal. The second Respondent/Insurance Company entered into an agreement with the Appellants/Claimants whereby, the Appellants/Claimants agreed to receive a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five laksh only), in full quit, over and above the award already passed by the Tribunal.
2.It was agreed that the Appellants/Claimants are entitled to full enhanced sum of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five lakhs only) in full quit, over and above the award already passed by the Tribunal. 3.The second Respondent/Insurance Company is directed to deposit the agreed amount within a period of 8 weeks from today. 4.On such deposit, the Appellants/Claimants are entitled to withdraw the entire amount as apportioned by Tribunal. The withdrawal regarding the award of the minors shall be as ordered by the Tribunal.
